The Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) has invited applications from qualified candidates for the recruitment of Academic Associate (Air Transport Studies), Academic Associate (Hospitality/Hotel Management), and Research Associate posts on a contract basis. The appointments will be made at the KITTS Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates with qualifications in Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, and Research to work with one of Kerala's premier tourism education institutions.

Salary Details

• Academic Associate – Air Transport Studies: ₹24,000 per month (Consolidated)
• Academic Associate – Hospitality / Hotel Management: ₹24,000 per month (Consolidated)
• Research Associate: ₹25,000 per month (Consolidated)

Educational Qualification

Academic Associate – Air Transport Studies

• Post Graduate Degree in Tourism or Social Science.
• IATA qualification in an Aviation subject.
• Minimum one year experience in Aviation, Travel Industry, or teaching IATA courses.

Academic Associate – Hospitality / Hotel Management

• Post Graduate Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university on regular/full-time basis.
• OR Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from IHMCT or a recognized university with minimum 60% marks.
• Minimum one year experience in Hospitality Industry or teaching Hospitality courses.

Research Associate

• Ph.D. in Management, Social Science, or Tourism.
• Post Ph.D. experience in Academic Publishing, Proposal Preparation, Research Reports, and Data Analysis.

Age Limit

Applicants should be up to 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process

Eligible applications received by KITTS will be scrutinized, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the further stages of selection. The final appointment will be made purely on a contract basis, and the selected candidates will not have any claim for permanent appointment in KITTS.
