KSERC IT & Data Analytics Internship 2026 – Apply Online for Internship Programme

The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for its Internship Programme 2026-27 in the field of IT & Data Analytics. Eligibility Criteria

KSERC has prescribed specific academic and eligibility requirements for candidates applying to the IT & Data Analytics Internship Programme. Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E degree in either Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT).

Only candidates who have successfully completed their graduation in the first chance will be considered for selection. Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in both Malayalam and English, as language skills are mandatory for this internship programme.

The Commission has placed a strong emphasis on academic excellence. Applicants must have secured at least 80% marks or equivalent grade in both 10th and 12th standards. Additionally, candidates should have obtained a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or 70% marks in their B.Tech/B.E programme.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for applicants is 23 years as on the date of notification. Candidates exceeding the prescribed age limit will not be eligible for consideration under this internship programme.

Internship Duration & Stipend

The internship programme will be conducted for a period of one year. During the internship period, selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.

This internship offers an opportunity to work with Kerala's electricity regulatory authority and gain hands-on exposure to IT systems, data analytics, regulatory processes, and technical projects that contribute to the state's power sector.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of an Online Multiple Choice Objective Type Test followed by a Personal Interview.

The online examination will contain 100 questions and will have a duration of 90 minutes. Negative marks will be awarded for wrong answers. Candidates who perform well in the online examination will be shortlisted for the interview stage.

The final rank list will be prepared based on the combined score obtained in the online test and personal interview.

If a large number of applications are received, KSERC reserves the right to screen applications before conducting the examination.
