Job Purpose

The Porter – EKAS role is designed to support the airport service teams by handling baggage, assisting passengers, and ensuring trolleys and other airport equipment are managed efficiently. This is a physically active position that requires excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload passenger baggage and cargo shipments as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure baggage and goods are tagged and handled correctly, and report any damage or safety issues immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated airport areas.
• Collect and distribute trolleys and baby strollers to meet passenger demand throughout the terminal.
• Report and replace damaged or unclean equipment as required.
• Follow billing and cash handling procedures accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle pharmaceutical cargo following EU GDP guidelines when applicable.
